Our Care Team

Our recruitment is values based, that is we look for people with natural warmth and whom share our values of respect and kindness. It’s important that the care team understand each person is unique and that they get to know people and understand their background in order to build meaningful connections with them. This includes the whole care team, including our Care practitioners, Activity Co-ordinators, Domestic and Kitchen staff.  We are committed to the continual professional development of all staff not only for the benefit of residents and the care they receive, but for each individual’s personal growth. We support people in completing externally accredited qualifications.

 

Our Care Manager

Our Care manager, Roz Wills has been caring for the elderly for over 35 years, and has been with Mallands over 7 years.  Although Roz holds professional qualifications such as the City and Guilds Registered Manager award and NVQ Level 5, it is her sensitive and caring nature complemented by her unwavering commitment and dedication to the residents that sets her apart.

 

Our Directors

Mallands has been a family run home for over 30 years. Whilst the directors are responsible for the services and financial wellbeing of the home, they have a keen interest in the day to day activities and life in the home.
